On-Board Immigration Clearance at Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge
Starting from June 9, 2025, the Macao Public Security Police Force allows foreign visitors in vehicles with nine seats or fewer to complete immigration clearance at the vehicle channels of the Macao Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, rather than proceeding to the main clearance halls.
Eligibility Requirements
For arrival: Nationals of countries granted visa-free entry into Macao who possess valid passports may complete on-board arrival formalities through the arrival vehicle channels.
For departure: All foreign visitors with valid passports may complete on-board departure formalities through the departure vehicle channels.
For ineligible passengers: Those who do not qualify for on-board clearance must use the Clearance Hall for On-board Passengers near the vehicle channels or the arrival/departure halls.
Purpose and Context
This initiative aims to facilitate foreign visits to Macao, promote international people-to-people exchange, and establish Macao as a platform for opening up to the outside world and cultural exchange between Chinese and Western civilizations. The arrangement follows an in-depth assessment of the vehicle channels' clearance demands and capacities.
