Day 4: The Secret Behind Vietnam Tickets Only $680 – Don't Miss This FREE Tool! 🤫

Everyone wants to go back to Vietnam to visit family without "going broke" on airfare.

Last November, I wanted to find tickets from Portland to Vietnam for Tet but hadn't finalized the dates yet. The biggest problem was that ticket prices change every hour, and I couldn't sit and watch them constantly!

So I used a tool that many people use but haven't fully exploited: Google Flights Price Alert!

I just went to Google Flights, searched for Portland (PDX) → Saigon (SGN) or Hanoi (HAN), picked any dates in January-February, then turned on Track Prices. After that, I could comfortably do other work! 😄

Three weeks later, while working, my phone notified: "Ticket prices dropped sharply! PDX-SGN only $680 now!" (Normal price is $1,100-1,300!) So I spent 15 minutes booking tickets for the whole family right away. The next morning, I checked and the deal had jumped to $950!

The setup is very simple, anyone can do it:

  1. Access Google Flights (on computer or phone app).
  2. Enter your departure - destination (e.g., PDX-SGN, PDX-HAN).
  3. Select flexible dates (if available) or the time period you want to go.
  4. Click the "Track prices" button (Track prices).
  5. Choose to receive notifications via email or app.
  6. And then just… wait.

Currently, I'm tracking ticket prices to many destinations in Asia at the same time like Vietnam, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand...

A few small tips for flights to Asia:

  • Set up price alerts 4-6 months before the trip.
  • Good round-trip prices from PDX-Vietnam are usually $650-800.
  • The best months to fly are February-March and September-October (try to avoid peak summer).

SAVE this post and start "hunting" tickets right now!
